The Running Game Tactic
The goal of the Running Game technique is to entice all your checkers into your inside board and get them off as quick as you could. This strategy concentrates on the speed of moving your pieces with absolutely no time spent to hit or barricade your competitor’s pieces. The best scenario to employ this plan is when you believe you might be able to shift your own pieces faster than your opposition does: when 1) you have a fewer pieces on the game board; 2) all your checkers have moved beyond your competitor’s checkers; or 3) your opponent doesn’t employ the hitting or blocking strategy.
The Blocking Game Technique
The primary aim of the blocking technique, by the title, is to stop the competitor’s chips, temporarily, while not fretting about shifting your chips rapidly. As soon as you’ve established the blockade for the competitor’s movement with a couple of checkers, you can move your other pieces quickly from the game board. You should also have a clear plan when to back off and shift the checkers that you used for blocking. The game becomes intriguing when your opponent utilizes the same blocking strategy.
