The Running Game Technique
The goal of the Running Game technique is to bring all your pieces into your inside board and get them off as quick as you could. This plan focuses on the speed of moving your chips with no time spent to hit or stop your competitor’s chips. The best scenario to use this strategy is when you think you can move your own checkers a lot faster than the opposing player does: when 1) you have less pieces on the board; 2) all your checkers have past your opponent’s checkers; or 3) the opponent does not use the hitting or blocking tactic.
The Blocking Game Tactic
The primary goal of the blocking technique, by its title, is to block the competitor’s chips, temporarily, while not fretting about shifting your checkers quickly. After you’ve created the blockage for the competitor’s movement with a couple of chips, you can shift your other checkers swiftly from the board. The player really should also have an apparent strategy when to extract and shift the checkers that you used for blocking. The game becomes intriguing when your opposition utilizes the same blocking tactic.
