The Running Game Strategy
The aim of the Running Game strategy is to lure all your pieces into your home board and get them off as quickly as you could. This strategy focuses on the pace of advancing your pieces with absolutely no time spent to hit or block your opponent’s chips. The best scenario to use this tactic is when you believe you might be able to move your own chips quicker than your opponent does: when 1) you have less pieces on the board; 2) all your checkers have moved beyond your opponent’s pieces; or 3) the opposing player doesn’t use the hitting or blocking technique.
The Blocking Game Tactic
The primary goal of the blocking technique, by the title, is to block your opponent’s checkers, temporarily, not fretting about shifting your pieces quickly. After you have created the blockage for the competitor’s movement with a couple of chips, you can move your other checkers rapidly from the game board. You should also have a good strategy when to extract and shift the checkers that you used for blocking. The game becomes intriguing when your opposition utilizes the same blocking strategy.
