The Running Game Tactic
The goal of the Running Game plan is to entice all your checkers into your inner board and bear them off as fast as you can. This technique concentrates on the speed of shifting your checkers with little or no time spent to hit or block your opponent’s checkers. The ideal time to use this technique is when you believe you might be able to move your own chips quicker than your opposing player does: when 1) you have a fewer checkers on the game board; 2) all your checkers have past your competitor’s pieces; or 3) your opponent does not employ the hitting or blocking technique.
The Blocking Game Strategy
The primary aim of the blocking technique, by its name, is to block your opponent’s checkers, temporarily, not worrying about shifting your chips quickly. Once you’ve established the barrier for your opponent’s movement with a few checkers, you can move your other checkers swiftly off the board. You really should also have an apparent plan when to withdraw and move the checkers that you used for blocking. The game gets intriguing when the opposition utilizes the same blocking technique.
