The main aim of the blocking tactic, by the title, is to stop the opponent’s pieces, temporarily, not worrying about moving your pieces quickly. As soon as you have created the barrier for your competitor’s movement with a few pieces, you can shift your other checkers swiftly off the board. You really should also have an apparent plan when to withdraw and move the chips that you utilized for blocking. The game becomes interesting when the competitor uses the same blocking technique.
